How information moves through the 6IX Dispatch website and dispatch platform, in plain language.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Information you provide voluntarily

You are not required to create an account or identify yourself to browse this website. Information reaches us only when you choose to send it — for example by contacting us, sending a roadside report through a published reporting channel, or enquiring about the tow partner network.

2. Report and location information

When a roadside location is reported, we handle the operational details needed to process a dispatch, which may include:

  • the location or nearest intersection and the city
  • any additional context you choose to provide about the location
  • the time the report was received
  • the contact details of the reporting channel used, where the channel provides them

3. Contact information

If you contact us, we handle the contact details and message content you send so we can respond and keep a record of the enquiry.

4. Partner and business information

Towing businesses that apply to join the network provide business information required for onboarding, eligibility review, dispatch routing and billing. This is business information relating to the operator's company rather than general consumer data.

5. Operational records

Dispatch activity is recorded as it moves through the platform — intake, verification, routing, acceptance, status changes, completion, invoicing and payment steps — so each dispatch has an accurate operational history.

6. Technical website information

Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used to keep the website secure, available and working correctly.

7. How information is used

We use information to verify and process reports, route dispatches to towing partners approved for the relevant service area, track dispatches through completion, operate billing and payment workflows, respond to enquiries, review partner applications, maintain accurate operational records, and protect the security and integrity of the platform. We do not sell personal information.

8. Service providers

We use third-party providers for services such as hosting, infrastructure, communications and payment processing. These providers handle information only as needed to deliver their service to us. Some providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including restricted access to operational systems, authentication and role-based controls. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security or any external security certification.

10. Retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to run the dispatch it relates to, respond to enquiries, meet billing and accounting obligations, and satisfy applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. It is then deleted or de-identified.

11. Legal requirements

We may disclose information where required to do so by applicable law, or in response to a valid legal request from a court, law enforcement or regulatory authority.

12. Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the information we hold relating to a report, an enquiry or a partner account, or to request a correction. Requests are handled in line with applicable Ontario and Canadian privacy law.

13. Updates to this policy

This policy will be updated as the platform moves from launch preparation into live operation. When it changes, the date below is revised. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to info@6ixdispatch.com or through the channels listed on our Contact page.
